Xerox® Direct to Object Inkjet Printer

Enhance your offerings with personalised printing on three-dimensional objects.

At drupa 2016, Xerox introduced the Direct to Object Inkjet Printer. The printer makes it possible for retailers and package printers to print durable, vivid colour images, photos and text directly on 3D objects in just seconds.

Using specialised print heads and UV inks, the Xerox® Direct to Object inkjet printer delivers excellent colour image quality. Also, it will print on a range of materials including plastics, metals, glass and ceramics.

The stainless steel construction of the print heads, allows them to print using different types of ink chemistry including solvent, aqueous and UV inks. By altering temperature you can adjust ink viscosity and accuracy.  This will allow you to print on smooth, rough, slightly curved or stepped surfaces.

As a result, the Xerox® Direct to Object inkjet printer provides the following benefits:

  • The printer has a small footprint to maximise floor space
  • You can easily change objects and maximise print productivity
  • Digital print capability is ideal for short runs
  • A complete packaging solution can eliminate the need for labels
  • The architecture can scale to meet your current and future needs
  • You can print on a variety of objects and can extend the carrier to suit multiple applications
